 First of all, what is a puppy mill?

 A puppy mill is a place where dogs are bred in small cages for years. They have most likely never seen grass or had a toy.

  Why do people do puppy mills?  

For money. They don't care about animals. They just want the money that comes with the dogs.  

How many puppy mills are there?  

There are more than 5,000 active puppy mills in the U.S.A currently.  

How many dogs are sold each year from puppy mills? 

 Over 2 million dogs are sold each year from puppy mills. 

Where are puppy mill dogs sold?  

They are mostly sold online. But some stores will sell them at their locations. One of those stores is Petland.  

How can we help stop puppy mills? 

Really just warning people about them and not buying from them.
